Public service contract Accommodation expenses
davidpotts [Ask-Legal-Accounting] 12:11 08/02/17 | Comments: 1
I am thinking about taking a new contract that is about 200 miles from home for a public agency. Normally I would expect to be able to write the cost of staying in a hotel, getting an evening meal off, cost of getting there etc against tax since its impossible to commute that sort of distance of a daily basis. Is this sort of thing going to be allowed under the new IR35 rules assuming that the contract is caught ?

My Client has two sites that are around 30 miles apart.
This question is regarding whether I can claim travel for working on a site that I previously worked on.
