David Gauke, a shadow treasury minister, was interviewed regarding the proposals, and the strength of feeling in the small business community, together with the opinion that the new laws would be unworkable and difficult to implement (where have we heard that before??)
Unfortunately, the BBC as usual these days, seem to be leaning towards the government in the way in which it reports these things, and insisted on suggesting that the legislation was addressing a loophole in the tax law - clearly, not the case.
I get very angry when this sort of approach is taken, as it suggest that all small businesses and family run firms are 'on the fiddle' or at least operating almost outside the law, which again is not the case.
