Twenty years ago, they created JSA, probably the first and certainly one of the largest specialist accountancy practices to provide purely limited company accounting services to self-employed contractors and freelance professionals. They built the business to a sizeable service group and then handed over operations to new management, which enabled both of them to exit the business.

What's more, if things remain much the same in year two, we guarantee not to increase our fees during their second year as clients.”
