40% Expense Rule: UPDATE
by jamieford at 11:53 22/01/14 (Ask-Legal-Accounting)
In response to Bob's/Barry's very helpful response at.......

Boiling it down, if my shorterm contract ends up exceeding the 24m rule, I understand that I cannot claim once I know/expect this to happen.

However, I have been contracting for years and so even though I have been at my current client for 24m, can I still claim expenses as when taking into account all my contracts since I started contracting, my current client amounts to less than 40% of the time I have been contracting since I started out as a contractor?
