Closing company
by Janemfreeman at 14:45 27/03/14 (Ask-Legal-Accounting)
Due to the fact that contracts have dried up and my age I have decided to close down my one person limited company.
Although I haven't had a contract in the last year I have been taking a modest salary but no dividends. I have something like £60k left as cash in the company. What would be the best (and tax efficient) way of closing the company down.

Or is it worth leaving it running, taking a salary, until there is nothing left in the pot?
