There are good times ahead for contractors if several recent reports are indicative of the future. They show that the contractor market has returned to the pre-recession levels, while the UK is fast becoming the 'self-employment capital' of Western Europe.
As IT skills are gaining more prominence in the school curriculum, there is also increasing demand for contractors with the right skills to meet the growing need in the classroom. At the other age of the age spectrum, the one-time baby-boomers, who are now deemed the super-boomers are leading the way in starting new - and successful - businesses.
