Errors with RTI 201 letters to employers
by Susie Hughes at 09:12 22/08/14 (News on Business)
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has apologised for issuing incorrect information about RTI over payments.
HMRC has said it is aware that some RTI 201 letters were sent to employers and agents in error. It advises that any employer or agent receiving one of these letters in August 2014 should ignore it.

If you want to check your tax position, you can do this on the Business Tax Dashboard, which is accessed though HMRC's Online services.
