As HM Revenue and Customs reveal more details about the new dividend allowance, there are concerns that it will be a tax rise 'by the back door'.
The announcement in the Summer Budget made it appear that the £5,000 dividend allowance would be tax free, but the detailed information shows that it will sit inside the tax bands.

...and the agency sector, has said that the recent proposals for an IR35 Mark 2, could have a devastating effect on the recruitment sector which services the professional, contractor market place.

The trade body, APSCo, is concerned that the increased responsibility placed on the end client or the recruiter by these proposals would result in everyone erring on the side of caution rather than taking a legitimate risk.
