4 week notice not honoured
by Nelson50 at 15:44 08/09/15 (Ask-Legal-Accounting)
There is a 4 week notice either way in my contract, this was not honoured and it ended up being 2 weeks notice by the client.

the agency squirmed out of its obligations by quoting the following ;
The relevant clause of the Contract which deals with termination is:

7.8
The Supplier acknowledges that the continuation of the Assignment is subject to and conditional upon the continuation of the contract entered into between the Company and the Client. In the event that the contract between the Company and the Client is terminated for any reason the Assignment shall cease with immediate effect without liability on the part of the Company.

The 2 week invoice "in lieu of notice" was not paid. Is it worth taking them to the small claims court?
