Web Sites and Advertising

To help demonstrate that you are in business on your own account a Web Site is essential. however it is too easy to ignore the benefits of printed material for advertising purposes.

A simple well designed leaflet or brochure will be invaluable when you are meeting clients or to gain that all important first meeting.

During my 'resting period' between contracts I have set up an internet and mail order based business.

I am very willing to help other businesses avoid the pitfalls that have caused me many wasted hours and cost humdreds of pounds. I will provide a comprehensive individual service.

Many businesses use a 'glossy' leaflet or brochure to publicise their business. I happily designed one, using Microsoft Publisher to discover that since most commercial printers use MAC systems my files were not suitable. Also normally PCs are set up to print on a desktop printer. This uses a different colour printing process from that used by commercial printers and the picture format and resolution are critical. You could have 1000 brochures with nice photographs looking like a series of grey lines.

The way round this is to purchase Adobe Photoshop (full version) at about £600, spend hours learning how to use it and then produce your leaflets on CD ready for the printers.

Alternatively do as I did (first time) and get the printers to take my hard copy and recreate in in Photoshop. Cost £200. This fee would be repeated every time I wanted to change my advertising material.

As I result I have invested in Adobe Photoshop and have learnt the 'tricks of the trade' in designing leaflets that will be accepted by printers.

Therefore if you wish to produce any advertising material I will be happy to help.

Also if you wish a web site (that you can update yourself), this is a service that I can provide. My rates are very reasonable for both services. Undercutting the high street competition.

I operate on a fixed price basis, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.
