I do appreciate the difficulty in commenting from a distance.
The personal details are perhaps not appropriate to post on a public forum, but the keyword would be "Ageism"!
Because Contractors usually "opt-out" of the Employment Regulations, no claims would be possible on that basis unfortunately.
But if I may speak generally, I was recently amused by the banker who allegedly boasted that the recent miss-selling scandal involved the bank selling an "Umbrella for a rainy day" to small businessess for interest rate protection, and then "when it rained, withdrawing it".
We are all used to the bane of the "small print" in all fields of business.
Is there no legal redress for some of these extreme examples, apart from the glare of media publicity?
