I have just received an email from an agency which contains the following assertion:-
In the meantime, if you have applied for a contract role, you will be receiving a request from our Admin team for proof of ID - something that we are required to hold for you by law.
Which law is this and what details are legally required?
BTW - this email was in respect of a Permanent role!
