Way to extract B2L property on closing a Company
by jaychavda at 14:57 25/04/16 (Ask-Legal-Accounting)
I set up a Ltd company through which I used to provide IT Consultancy. There are 2 shares in issue owned by myself. The company was started in 1994 and I traded through it until 2008. The company purchased a residential B2L flat in 2006 to invest the profits retained after CT.
This asset has now approx. £470k of capital gain. I have now retired and wish to close the company. My question is what is the most LEGAL tax efficient method to do this ?

I do not wish to sell the B2L property as the rental income is part of my pension. P.S. I am married and my wife is a 40% tax payer.
