Administration of Prosperity4
by Susie Hughes at 10:24 11/09/07 (News on Business)
Freelancers trade association is asking to hear from any contractors who may be affected by the administration of employment management company Prosperity4.
Prosperity4 went into administration on August 1, 2007 after a debenture holder triggered the action. At the time, the administrators, Chantrey Vellacott, stated that the purpose of the administration was the survival of the company, and that it was continuing to trade to achieve this. The Professional Contractors Group (PCG) has expressed its ongoing concern that contractors may be affected.

In a statement, the PCG said: "Following the administration of the employment management company Prosperity4 on the August 1, 2007, its website states that it is "business as usual".

"PCG remains concerned, however, that contractors may still be affected.

"PCG would like to hear from any contractors affected by the administration of Prosperity4 or who have received unsolicited approaches from those previously connected with Prosperity4 - please email us with details of your circumstances and contact details to p4@pcg.org.uk."
