With the consistent rise of self-employment, which has increased once again according to the latest ONS statistics released this week, the '15 for 2015' competition has been launched by freelancer group, the PCG, to find Britain’s best independent business minds.
Ian Murray, Shadow Business Minister and MP for Edinburgh South, said: “This is an exciting competition that will highlight the very best of those who are self-employed.
"It is incredibly rewarding being self-employed and there are significant advantages - the chance to be your own boss, grow your own business and be entrepreneurial. I look forward to seeing the winners of the '15 for 2015' competition.”
Louis Clark, spokesman for competition, said: “Almost half a million enterprising individuals have made the brave choice to go it alone in the last year alone and it is fantastic to see that our growing sector is endorsed so enthusiastically by Mr Murray. To receive support from Parliament shows that Britain is really starting to get behind Britain’s self-employed army.”
If you think you are one of Britain’s best self-employed professionals and want to be in with a chance of winning £5,000 as well as financial advice, business support and tech, enter the 15 for 2015 competition at www.15.org.uk.
