Web-based health & safety support

Health & Safety Click Ltd, the UK's leading online health and safety organisation, is enabling Shout99 members to audit and improve their safety procedures by providing web based health and safety support.
The award-winning website www.healthandsafetyclick.net was launched in 2002, and has recently been recognised by the Health & Safety Executive as playing a valuable part in its Working Well Together campaign.

Health & Safety Click Limited was formed to provide small to medium sized businesses with a robust and proactive service that will enable organisations to comply with the requirements of Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations. The founders come from a variety of business backgrounds including, health & safety, facilities management, property and small business management.

Its aim is to offer a service, which will enable all subscribers to:
  • create or improve Health & Safety practices within their working environment
  • stay compliant with current legislation and with legislation changes as they occur
  • write your Health and Safety Policy with the on-line questionnaire
  • actively manage processes for the benefit of staff and visitors.
  • help demonstrate effective risk management to their Insurer thereby aiding the purchase of Liability Insurance
  • access free downloads of documents, forms and leaflets.
  • to carry out a basic self-audit procedure that allows clients to complete an online health and safety questionnaire and highlight any areas of non-compliance. Users are then pointed in the right direction regarding solutions.
  • ask for a 'second opinion' from a qualified safety practitioner via the 'Ask the Expert' service.

Health & Safety Click appreciates that red tape and complying with legislation can be both expensive and a burden for businesses, especially smaller businesses, and has developed this low cost website, written in practical and plain-English, making it a simple one-stop-shop for business managers to understand and manage your Health & Safety effectively.

Christian Hopper, Sales Director, said: "We feel so strongly that Health and Safety in the workplace is of the highest priority that we have set up www.healthandsafetyclick.net to help businesses realise this fact.

"Our aim is to provide clients and their staff with a safe and healthy workplace, and to assist them through the myriad legal and practical issues involved in effectively managing their workplace safety.

"We recognise that complying with legislation can be both confusing and expensive for smaller businesses, so we have ensured that the service is both simple to use and affordable to all businesses.

"2005 will see some changes for various health and safety related regulations, so we have bought into Health & Safety Click in order to give our members a gentle reminder of what will take place and guide them on any actions they should be aware of to comply to current and changing legislation."
