It seems that MVD will be going ahead from April '19.
Currently I do not use an accountatnt for simple bookkeeping activities and submit my own VAT return using the current HMRC portal.
Will HMRC be distributing compatible free software, as they do to support RTI payroll reporting, or will I be obliged to buy software in order to submit what is a very simple (Flat Rate) VAT return.
