As the ink dried on the 108 paragraph judgement in the landmark Arctic Systems case, tax experts were unanimous in their agreement that this was a good day for husband and wife businesses. Qdos Consulting said that 'none of the judges found any merit whatever in the Revenue's application of the settlements legislation(section 660) to Mr and Mrs Jones's case'.
