It would seem that reviews into self-employment and employment practices are a bit like buses. Nothing to be seen for ages, then they all come along at once.
While most eyes are focused on the Government's Taylor review, there are at least six others in the pipeline. Freelancers will be hoping for 'joined up thinking' as their Christmas present.

There was no early Christmas present for agents, clients and contractors operating in the public sector. The details relating to the controversial off-payroll legislation have revealed the surprise that the responsibility for deciding if IR35 applies will be with the client or 'end-user'.
And it was confirmed that the responsibility for paying the tax if IR35 does apply will be with the agency or the third-party who pays the contractor.
